Supernaturalist takes place in Satellite city. Satellite city is controlled by different satellites . It is know as the city of the future. The city is also home to an orphan named Cosmo Hill he was found one day on Cosmo Hill. He is now in a Institution called Clarissa Frayne which takes care of orphans and in return the orphans are used as human guinea pigs to test many products. Cosmo is now reaching an age when he either needs to escape or die. He decides to plan a way to escape from the institution.

The theme of Supernaturalist is about how a boy finds his way out of an orphanage and into a new life. It is about a kid that finds himself a new life.

    Symbolism/Irony

In the Supernaturalist symbolism of the futuristic and advanced technological city is shown that there are going to be problems in the future. Ironically there seems more problems crime is increased and there’s little blue parasites running around. Which is always cool accept for when the try to suck the life out of you. This almost happened to Cosmo until a group calling themselves the supernaturalists rescued him. Cosmo after recovering is helping them to get rid of parasites attacking innocent people.

I thought that the book was very cool with all the futuristic and technology packed into that city. I also think that it was awesome because of the technology was combined with a good story and even some romance between Cosmo and Mona. I would recommend this book to everyone even if you don’t like Sci-fi.
